Black olive, leather, bramble berries and cigar box, lifted spice notes of clove and nutmeg bouquet. Beginning to develop lovely secondary charm but still loaded with stunning primary fruit. Soft balanced acidity with fine tannins giving weight and structure. Multidimensional with flavours of blackcurrant, spice and ripe plum.

2007 Tahbilk '1860 Vines' Shiraz

An earthy, robust undercurrent to the mint, herbs and spice aromas and fleshy, blackcurrant and dark plum fruits palate of this release. Fine, sinewy tannins on the finish work wonderfully with a lamb rack or grilled sirloin and would equally support for a longer term future.

Fresh and lifted plum, spice and earthy characters woven through black olive, mint and dark berry fruits. Will see additional complexity develop in cellar.
