Currently sitting deliciously on the youthful side of our ‘Museum Releases’, the bouquet has a vibrancy more attune to a younger wine than a mature one … hints of honey and a suggestion of dried tangerine peal an indication of further development to come.
A richly flavoured palate of citrus, lemon curd, honeysuckle and ginger hints is graced with a strong acid backbone delivering most of that flavour straight over the tongue and down the throat.
Further short term cellaring out to 2023/2025 will see the development of additional complexity and fuller flavours … longer term to 2029/2031 would not be a stretch.
